I have studied all types of stained glass art as well as the different components that are involved in the different stages of construction, installation, repair and restoration services. There have been opportunities for me to build custom stained glass windows for some folks, which I have to admit, I enjoyed quite a bit.

Beginnings
1968
When I was nine years old, my father brought me into his shop so I could start to learn about stained glass and it is to this day, one of my fondest memories. As you may have guessed, it didn’t take me long to fall in love with the artistic aspect of working with stained glass. That love blossomed into a genuine interest in working with all types of glass projects.
Small Hands Helps
1970
You see as a child, my hands were small. Some would even say they were delicate. Unfortunately, this made handling some larger projects or tasks more difficult for me. However, I soon found out that I was the only one in the shop that could maneuver some of the pieces that the grown men found difficult, due to my delicate hands. In fact, it all felt very relaxing and natural to me. I felt an overwhelming sense of pride every time they gave me something to help finish up, due to the size of my hands and my keen eye for detail.
First Commission
1974
At the age of fourteen, I was commissioned for my first stained glass job and it was a resounding success, not just for me, but my client as well. That is when I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, and decided to make a career of various types of glass work.
Open For Business
1977
My business began in 1977, and I have done work in New York City, Portland and Houston. Looking back, some of my favorite projects seem to center around restoring some of the stained glass in different architectural settings for numerous churches.
